Terms of Service

1. Introduction
Welcome to Roleplay Tools Discord Bot (the “Bot”). By using the Bot, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all users of the Bot. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Bot.
2. User Obligations
By using the Bot, you agree to:
- Compliance with Discord's Terms of Service: You must adhere to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.
- Appropriate Usage: Use the Bot in a manner that is respectful to other users and does not violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
- Roleplay Etiquette: When using roleplay features, ensure your interactions are respectful, non-offensive, and do not include explicit, harmful, or inappropriate content.
- No Spamming or Exploiting: You may not spam the Bot, attempt to exploit it, or interfere with its functionality.
3. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Bot for any unlawful or malicious activities.
- Engage in harassment, bullying, or other forms of abusive behavior.
- Post or share content that is harmful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, or that encourages unlawful activities.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Bot.
- Use the Bot to distribute malware, phishing links, or other harmful content.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
- Bot Content: All features, designs, code, and content associated with the Bot are the intellectual property of the Bot’s creators, unless otherwise specified. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Bot in accordance with these Terms.
5. Privacy
- Data Collection: The Bot may cache data, such as user IDs, necessary to provide its services. This data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not store messages or personal data in any way. We will not share data with third parties unless required by law.
- Third-Party Services: The Bot may interact with third-party services, such as other Discord bots or APIs. Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Bot will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors. Use of the Bot is at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bot’s creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Bot, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Bot’s creators, developers, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Bot or any violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Bot at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
10. Changes to the Terms of Service
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will provide notification in our official Discord support server. Continued use of the Bot after changes are made indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The United States of America. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Bot will be resolved in the courts of The United States of America.
